Where do I even start about the Celebrant-plus course? The knowledge that Kate and Kate have about funerals is second to none. I learned so much on the course most of which I hadn’t even considered.
Doing the Celebrant-plus course gave me so much confidence in my own ability and my stance as an independent funeral celebrant. I took my first booking recently that didn’t come through a funeral director. It was amazing.
If you throw in the fact that Kate and Kate are two of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet, you really can’t go wrong with this course. Whether you’re just starting out or been doing it for years, seriously jump on it!!
If like me, you’re an independent celebrant, frustrated and dissatisfied with the range of funeral choices you can currently offer your clients, then this is the course for you!
Two days in the lovely and very knowledgeable company of Kate T and Kate D will render you fired up and enthused for changing your whole approach to planning and arranging funerals, on behalf of all those clients who are looking for more personal ceremonies tailored to their individual needs. Viva la funeral revolucion! indeed!!
Thanks for running the celebrant plus course over the past couple of days. Although I knew this stuff was possible, you have given me the confidence to go forward and implement all the knowledge I now have. To step forward knowing that what l’m advocating for is a better choice for families at what is a bloody hard time in their lives. Offering real choice to people to have the sort of funerals they want – to take back control to put them back in the driving seat is so empowering- at a time when the world feels like it spinning out of control! Looking forward to facilitating and helping families create the funerals they want!
This course gives you so much insight into the funeral industry and how you can be more proactive in your celebrancy business. Talk (and learn) about death with Kate and Kate and you’ll be inspired to work differently.
‘I’m Sheron of SheronBurtYourCelebrant, based in Daventry Northamptonshire. I recently completed the
Coffin Club Celebrant-plus training. It was one of the best training courses I have been on to-date. It was so inspiring and thought-provoking! I’d finally found two women after my own heart, forward-thinking and paving the way for changes in the funeral industry. I was so frustrated with Funeral Directors’ way of thinking and working, I was literally losing the will to live (excuse the pun!), ready to throw the towel in, and then I heard Kate and Kate’s webinar and I thought “Now you’re talking”
I’m so excited about the future and I’m looking forward to moving forward and empowering change!’
I’m so excited to be a Coffin Club Celebrant Plus Celebrant. I deliberated for ages over doing the course, but I’m so glad I finally did it! I was already a trained Celebrant but I now have a much deeper understanding of how we can improve the traditional funeral model, giving families the best and widest choices for their loved one’s final farewell. Feeling there was more to offer families than the twenty minutes at the Crematorium, I’m now confident there is a better way for those who want it.
My ambition is to work directly with families who want to take ownership of their funeral arrangements, recommending the very best funeral directors who want to take part in a progressive movement for change.
I had already attended several webinars led by the bundles of energy that are ‘the two Kates’. I was convinced by their passion, knowledge and drive to create a revolution in the world of funerals, and I’m excited to be a part of that movement for change. Viva la funeral revolucion!
After feeling disheartened with the funeral profession, and my role as a celebrant within it, I started to educate myself on more diverse and inclusive ways of holding funeral ceremonies. I had seen Kate and Kate speak at an event about Coffin Club, but at that time funerals weren’t my focus. It was now time to revisit what they offered and I am so glad that I did. Not only did I meet the fabulous Kates again, I heard, and saw, their passion for offering Celebrant-plus funeral ceremonies. I was inspired and can definitly see that this is the way forward for me, and the profession. Thank you to my cohort for their sharing and open conversations and for Kate, Kate and Winnie for the laughs and knowledge.
Attending this course with Kate and Kate has opened up a whole new world for me. I highly recommend it if you want to really bring death home and give your clients more control over what happens after their end of life or their loved-one’s end of life. It has been truly eye-opening and truly inspirational. Five stars for the Coffin Club Celebrant-plus training.
